Parents and Tots - Small Group Class

Service Description

Small group class (min 2, max 5) for the littlest swimmers and their accompanying parent/guardian! To offer more flexibility, you can book just one class, or book every week, the price is the same for each class. This class will introduce toddlers to the fundamental skills of floating, breath control and movement, as well as getting more comfortable getting their face, ears and whole body in the water. Designed to also build confidence in parents/guardians starting to teach their toddlers the basics of water acclimation and safety. We will follow a similar routine each week; with songs, games and skill practice to help your little one learn to expect what's to come and build on their motor skill development. Due to COVID precautions and restrictions, the Instructor will be distanced and hands off, and will use a mannequin to demonstrate holds and actions. Each swimmer and their parent/guardian must also maintain distance from other swimmers, unless they are from the same family unit. I will be getting creative on how we can make this work well!

Cancellation Policy

To confirm your booking, full payment is required via e-transfer within 24 hours, along with a completed waiver form. Mountain Kids Swim Lessons may make minor adjustments to lesson times, communicated well in advance, to accommodate larger families together or to stagger Instructor hours. Full payment is non-refundable, except in extenuating circumstances. Cancellations must be made with at least 48 hours notice for a swimmer(s)’s illness or extenuating circumstances; lesson will be rescheduled if possible, or a refund given. Lessons will run in the wind or rain, but not with lightning or other hazards; lessons will be cancelled (for the rest of the day, if necessary), with no refund given. If lessons are cancelled in advance due to weather, or Instructor illness; lessons will be rescheduled if possible, or a refund given.
